My name is Cameron Robert and I'm the Head of Technology at Datarati; Australia's Largest Salesforce Partner & Customer Experience Agency.

Experience
I have been working in Loyalty Marketing since 2012, where I first started as a Loyalty Specialist for Treasury Casino & Hotel. In this role my primary duty was executing BTL marketing campaigns to casino members via mobile, email and direct mail channels. During this time I contributed to the development of a casino member journey and the automation of various drip campaigns.
In 2013 I was seconded to the Absolute Rewards Loyalty Team where I continued to develop the CRM and automation space at Echo Entertainment Group. While in this role I contributed to numerous projects and initiatives, including the development of a new customer lifecycle campaign.
I moved into a Loyalty Direct Marketing Executive role in mid-2014, where I continued to fulfil special project responsibilities in addition to campaign strategy, design and execution requirements.
In July 2015 I joined Flight Centre Travel Group as a Data & Direct Marketing Customer Experience Executive, where I managed the Email and Direct Marketing channel for Student Flights.
By 2016 I was helping to insouce Flight Centre's email activities from a digital marketing agency, and my role focused on integrating, developing and training staff in the use of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
In May 2017 I was promoted to lead a specialised team of technical executives to administer the data and design functions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud; including the development of automated customer marketing activities, the redesigning of existing email templates, and customer data segmentation.
By October 2017 my role had expanded to lead 7 Digital Marketing Executives and the email marketing opperations of Flight Centre Travel Group's largest leisure retail brands - Flight Centre, Escape Travel, Student Flights, Cruiseabout, Travel Associates & My Adventure Travel.
By early 2019 my role had evolved into an automation-focused remit, where I lead a team of technical marketing specialists in the creation of Automated and Triggered customer journeys.
In March 2020 I made the decision to expand my learnings and accepted a role as a Solution Architect at Datarati. This opportunity would give me exposure to more industry verticals and allow my to apply my marketing automation skills futher than I was able to working on the customer-side.
After 6 months of solutioning for wide array Datarati clients, I was given the opportunity to lead the technical team and step into the Head of Technology role.
